The Cincinnati Bearcats Accept Belk Bowl Bid

The University of Cincinnati has accept an invitation to play in the Belk Bowl on December 28th at 3:20 pm in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Presumably the Bearcats will face off against the North Carolina Tar Heels, that is unless Virginia Tech isn’t already selected by a higher-slotted bowl. It’s not official yet but there’s basically a 99.9% shot that we’ll be seeing UC v. UNC in the Belk Bowl. This is of course the second straight year that Cincinnati will be Charlotte-bound for postseason play after beating the Duke Blue Devils 48-34 there last year.

Cincy on the Prowl will have more on this game and the Tar Heels in the coming weeks. Until then, don’t forget to purchase your Belk Bowl tickets through UC at this link as the school is on the hook for several thousand tickets and buying them through other channels just isn’t cool.
