Since dropping a heartbreaker to Louisville in early December, UC’s football team has been spending most of their time studying for final exams and preparing for their Belk Bowl opponent the North Carolina Tar Heels. With the flurry of responsibilities over the last two weeks, the players face a real danger of being burnt out. This is never something coaches want their team to experience as, in general, a looser, more relaxed football player is a better football player. Thus Tommy Tuberville and his staff surprised them this morning by announcing that they were taking the team bowling instead of having practice.
The players seemed to take to the news well.

Tentman even uploaded a video of the team’s reaction to the announcement. I hope they have fun and return to campus fresh and ready for their final prep for UNC!
