The hits just keep on coming for the Bearcats on National Signing Day. First it was Hunter Atkinson who switched to Georgia after receiving an offer late last night. Then Tajee Fullwood opted to stay home and sign with South Florida despite Cincinnati making a late push. And now, longtime commitment Spencer Williams has switched to Mizzou.

The 3 star defensive end was recognized early by Tommy Tuberville and his staff, who offered him on May 28th of last year. He only had interest from Iowa State and East Carolina at the time but Williams verballed to Cincinnati. Almost immediately his recruitment exploded. After committing to UC, he picked up offers from the likes of NC State, Auburn, Georgia Tech, Purdue, Nebraska, and Missouri. Unfortunately for the Bearcats it was the Tigers’ one that made Williams change his intentions.

The defensive end is a special player at the high school level and could develop into a monster in college. It’s just a shame he won’t be doing that in red and black. So I wish Williams the best of luck at Mizzou.
