Everybody likes to hear updates about the Nippert Stadium renovation, right? Well the Cincinnati Enquirer has you covered. In the brief video below, Turner Construction project manager Steven Swisher provides us a status on the construction to this point.
Stray Observations
- It was a short and sweet review of the progress on the renovation thus far but there were a few nuggets to speak about
- The foundational work is coming to a close and they are looking for an early May end date to wrap that up*
- Then, from May thru August, we’ll finally see the framework of the press box rise out of the ground. It’s amazing that the last four months have been devoted solely to moving utilities and laying the subterranean infrastructure. Just goes to show how massive of a project this truly is.
*He mentions completing this phase “in 6 weeks or so” which he references to be “early May”, which leads me to believe the Enquirer shot this video in Mid-March and is just now getting around to posting it. Figures.
