Don’t Be Surprised If Greg Blair Makes The Cleveland Browns Roster

As my man Chris reported five Bearcats were signed as undrafted free agents. The one that sticks out to me is linebacker Greg Blair. Blair was signed by the Cleveland Browns.

Blair was a player that always seemed to be around the ball when I watched the Bearcats the last two years. I know he didn’t run the fastest 40 time, which all the scouts want, but sometimes some people just can flat play football. It doesn’t matter how many times they can bench press 225 lbs, have a high vertical or run a 4.4 40 yard dash some people just have the flat instinct to play and I put Blair in that category.

Blair amassed 244 tackles in two years with the Bearcats which is nothing to sneeze at.

He has a good family pedigree as his brother DeJuan plays for the Dallas Mavericks currently and he has no ACL ligaments, yeah wrap your head around that. So, with that being said we know Greg has good genes for this pro athlete stuff.

The Browns run a 3-4 they have a few people set in stone on the linebacking crew, but they only drafted one linebacker in this draft. The odds are against Blair, but I think worst case scenario he will be on the Browns practice squad and if not theirs somebody else’s.
