Earlier today, we at Cincy on the Prowl attempted to tackle the burning question* surrounding the UC football program; who will be new quarterback Gunner Kiel’s favorite receiver in 2014.
*Burning in the sense that we lit the fire that started it.
In 2013, Brendon Kay had Shaq Washington and Anthony McClung. The year prior he seemed to hook up with tight end Travis Kelce for yardage and Chris Moore for the necessary touchdown. When Zach Collaros was at the helm, he developed a quick rapport with Armon Binns and the same goes for Tony Pike and Mardy Gilyard before them.
But who will be that player for Gunner Kiel? He has oodles of options to choose from as Mekale McKay, Chris Moore, Shaq Washington, Max Morrison, and Ralph David Abernathy are all back next season. Most of us picked Mekale McKay, and for good reason, while Jesse went with Chris Moore and I picked Shaq Washington. It’s really anyone’s guess at this point but who do you think will be his favorite target?
