Cincinnati Bearcats Win Bahamas Exhibition Game 94-64

The Cincinnati Bearcats won their first live game of the 2014-15 basketball season in exhibition play over the PJ Stingers in the Bahamas. UC donned their practice garbs this evening but despite downgrading their attire they didn’t downgrade their performance. The game was fairly close in the first half but UC’s raw talent shined after halftime as they ultimately expanded their lead to 30 in a winning effort.

Obviously the differential in player quality was a huge factor tonight but the fact that we witnessed this Cincinnati team, what with 38% of the roster new this season, put up 94 points is encouraging. Mick appears to have gotten everyone involved in some capacity with fresh faces like Gary Clark earning decent minutes. Tonight’s contest was a means in which the coaches can learn more about their players and the players themselves can gain valuable live game experience.

More to come from this game over the next day or so. We anticipate a box score, pics, and highlights from 10th Year Seniors (@10thyrSeniors), who live tweeted from the arena tonight.
