Way Too Early Prediction

I can’t say I’m excited about the Bearcats facing SMU in Dallas next season. The Mustangs put a scare into Cincinnati last year, coming all the way back from 18 down to begin the fourth quarter to lose by a field goal. In Nippert Stadium, no less. Now, next season’s version of the SMU football team will be without senior leadership at quarterback but the defense should be better and, as mentioned, the Mustangs will have home field advantage. On paper I think Cincinnati can win by a field goal or touchdown but I wouldn’t be surprised, although seething with anger, if UC leaves the field with a loss.
