Cincinnati v. Miami (OH) Will Kick Off At 7 PM On CBS Sports Network

Cincinnati’s second home game of the year on September 20th against the Miami (OH) Redhawks will kick off at 7 pm on the CBS Sports Network.

The annual matchup between the Bearcats and their Route 27 rivals has cooled off in recent years. Miami leads the all-time series 59-52-7 but haven’t won since 2005. With the promotion of Cincinnati to the Big East almost a decade ago combined with a series of simultaneously excellent coaching hires in Clifton and putrid hires in Oxford, the Bearcats have distanced themselves greatly from the Redhawks.

As such, UC could head into this game as multi-touchdown favorites when initial betting lines are revealed.

With regards to the kick off time, it really couldn’t be any better for the Bearcats. Noon starts are usually tough on the students for games at Nippert Stadium and even more difficult when played downtown. But an evening kick off gives them and the regular fanbase plenty of time to get to the stadium. Plus the atmosphere of The Banks at night can’t be beat. If Cincinnati runs through Toledo this Friday, I’d expect PBS to approach capacity (or whatever that is with the upper deck tarped off) next Saturday.
