Chris Moore Has A Coming Out Party In Columbus

facebooktwitterreddit

I know the Bearcats took a pounding in Columbus. Questions on defense still remain, but the offense proved it could move the ball against a pretty stout Buckeyes defense. This has to bode well for the long run and if our defense can maintain, the Bearcats will be fine during AAC conference games. The Bearcats took a 50-28 loss to the Buckeyes, but our star besides Gunner Kiel was wide receiver Chris Moore.

Moore had 3 receptions for 221 yards and 3 touchdowns, nope that isn’t a typo. Moore averaged 73.7 yards per catch and had another 50 yard touchdown called back due to a penalty. He had scores/catches of 60, 83 and 73 yards that’s crazy. I’ve personally never seen anything like it except in the NFL, looks at Randy Moss. I’m not comparing Moore to Moss even though he did Moss (if you don’t know what the term Moss means please go get your YouTube, Thanks) Vonn Bell on his 60 yard touchdown scamper.

Moore’s coming out party is great because before Saturday he had only 3 catches for a total of 34 yards through the first 2 games, but he didn’t also have 2 touchdowns. If you look at Moore’s stats they are highly efficient he has 6 receptions for 5 touchdowns I wonder how long he can keep that up? I don’t think for long, but I believe Moore is due for a few more big games with the talent in Bearcats receiving core a defense can’t stop them all.

Before Saturday’s game Mekale McKay was the lead dog so far this year and it may not change because of this performance, but one thing that the emergence of McKay has done is made it a lot easier for Moore, Washington and the gang to do their thing.

Congrats to Chris Moore even in defeat you did your best to turn heads. The nation needs to pay attention to the Bearcats especially on offense.
