AAC Power Rankings: Week 14

Temple Owls. 6. team. 2399. Temple’s defense is the real deal, but its offense was unable to do much of anything all day against a resurgent Cincinnati defense.  Without the help of turnovers (which they got in their upset of ECU), Temple does not have enough offense to beat good teams.  The good news is that they do not play a good team this week.  Their last chance to reach bowl eligibility rests on their ability to beat a Tulane team that has struggled <em>even more</em> on offense.  I like Temple’s chances to win that game on Saturday night and reach a bowl game.  Not quite a Memphis-scale turnaround, but still a step in the right direction for a team that finished 2-10 a year ago..
