Nippert Stadium Time-Lapse: 1 Year In

It’s been exactly one year since construction began on the renovations to UC’s James Gamble Nippert Memorial Stadium, and the progress is becoming more and more noticeable every day.  Today marks a milestone for the project, as the final piece of steel will be put into place today.  The athletic department and the university are holding a “topping out” ceremony at Nippert today to celebrate, and they also released this cool time-lapse video, which documents the 365 days of demolition and construction:

Also, happy 5th Anniversary of the greatest game I have ever witnessed.  I will readily admit that I cried tears of joy that day.  They then froze to my face.
