Breaking: Cincinnati Bearcats Head Coach Mick Cronin Missing VCU Game Due To Unruptured Aneurysm

UC avoided potentially tragic news this morning when it was learned that head coach Mick Cronin had an unruptured aneurysm. I don’t need to explain to you just how serious that could possibly be. Cronin was in pain due to lingering headaches since just after the Nebraska game and opted to not do his regular postgame press conference after the win over San Diego State on Wednesday night. He is undergoing testing at the moment and will do so for the next few days.

Obviously he’s out for the VCU game today and associate head coach Larry Davis will take over. Hopefully the Bearcats can eek out a win for their fearless leader. If anything, I hope Mick knows that several fans and friends from around the country are wishing him the best.
