Current Commitments/Signees
Gone to graduation are Terrell Hartsfield, Brad Harrah, and Jerrell Jordan. They’ll be taking with them their 19 tackles for loss and 12.5 sacks. While Silverberry Mouhon hit an unexpected slump his junior year, it’s anyone’s guess if he’ll bounce back in 2015. Behind him is a logjam of true and redshirt freshmen.
As such, one of the youngsters like Mark Wilson (23 sacks, 10 forced fumbles his senior year of high school) or Junior College transfer Bryan Wright will have to step up next year. It’s probably not critical that Tuberville adds a defensive end in this class. His defensive line coach Robert Prunty should have enough to work with among the underclassmen but another JUCO to add experience and depth at the position would certainly help matters.
