With the Minnesota Timberwolves being short handed it allowed one of our recent UC greats a change to live out a dream. As Sean Kilpatrick was signed to the Minnesota Timberwolves on Thursday. The man we call SK received a 10 day contract as he was called up from the Delaware 87ers.
The former All-American wasn’t drafted last year and had been in the D-League all season with the Santa Cruz Warriors and Delaware 87ers. SK averaged 13.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1 steal per game during his 42 games in the D League.
Hopefully SK plays well enough to get signed for the rest of the year. No matter what keep grinding #BearcatNation is proud and how sweet is it that SK got signed to an NBA team the day the Bearcats played and won in a thriller in NCAA tournament? I think it’s pretty sweet.
