Way Too Early Prediction On Round Drafted
- 3rd thru 7th Round
Silverberry Mouhon entered his junior year as a potential top round pick in an upcoming Draft. After all, he led all defensive linemen with 12.5 tackles for loss and 9.5 sacks as a sophomore. His future was bright, to say the least.
But Mouhon took a major step back in 2014. His tackles for loss plummeted to 5 and sacks to 4. Maybe it was the fact that offenses honed in on him more, devoting two offensive linemen to him on any given play. Running backs were also tasked to chip him on many occasions. Or he could have simply “lost it”.
It’s really anyone’s guess.
Mouhon has all the raw tools, the strength, the size (6’4″ 252 lbs), the experience, to take the next step to the NFL. He needs to surpass the numbers he put up as a sophomore to get taken in the 2016 Draft. If Mouhon can pull it off, he’s easily a 3rd round pick.
