Perhaps the worst moment of the Ohio State blowout and the season was a play that turned the tide in Cincinnati’s bid to take down the Buckeyes in Columbus.

On first and ten after OSU just scored, the Bearcats were backed into their territory in hopes of answering with a touchdown of their own. Joey Bosa squashed any thoughts of that. Upon the snap of the ball the future first round draft pick used an impressive inside move on UC left tackle Eric Lefeld, burst right into the pocket, and drove all 275 lbs of his body through Gunner Kiel’s ribs.

If it wasn’t a Memphis defensive tackle the week prior that caused him excruciating pain in his mid-section for 2014, Bosa’s hit certainly did.

Not only that but the impact caused Kiel to fumble the ball into the endzone. Lefeld wound up knocking out of the back for a safety but at that point the writing may have been on the wall. The Buckeyes scored on their next drive, putting them up 23-7 before the first quarter even ended, and Cincinnati was playing a game of desperate catch up from there.
