Cincinnati to host Butler Dec. 2, 2015

Earlier this Summer, it was reported that the Cincinnati Bearcats had agreed to a home-and-home series with the Butler Bulldogs over the course of the next two seasons.  Now we have the date for the first meeting.  Basketball season ticket renewals went live this morning, and while the full 2015-16 schedule has yet to be released, the athletic department is offering those renewing their tickets the opportunity to buy additional seats to home games against Butler and Iowa State.

We already knew that the Iowa State game was set for Dec. 22, but we now know that UC will host Butler on Wednesday, December 2, 2015.  No word on a start time or TV info yet, but UC’s full schedule should be coming off the presses fairly soon.  Actually, I’m surprised that the full schedule hasn’t been released yet.

UC’s non-conference schedule will be just as challenging this year as last – which was a huge factor in solidifying the Bearcats’ fifth-straight NCAA tournament appearance.  The ‘Cats will have two opportunities to pick up resume building wins at home early, so mark your calendars and make plans to be at Fifth-Third Arena.
