HIGHLIGHTS

OUTLOOK

Like with the other wide receivers in this recruiting class, Rollins could very well see the field as a true freshman. Cincinnati is replacing six players going into next season, all of which were very much in the rotation, and that void could be filled by a first year Bearcat. Will Rollins be that player? Perhaps. He has the resume (18.5 yards per catch, 12 touchdowns as a senior) that proves he’s ready for a new challenge at the collegiate level. What will determine whether or not he’s slapped with a redshirt in his first year at UC is how much he elevates himself from a very crowded receiver corps chalk full of new players. But if it’s the case that he has to sit out in 2016, that’s OK. It will allow him to learn the system at a slower pace while spacing out the what is becoming a conga line of wide outs in this class.
