After a what seemed like a long respite but was only in fact a month between our last podcast, Scott, Matt, and I got back together to discuss most-if-not-all of the happenings in the world of our beloved Bearcats.

Most of today’s segment related to the latest news on conference realignment, the seemingly living, breathing, never dying topic that reared its ugly head yet again recently. We’re talking about the details that were released last weekend regarding the efforts that UC went to in order to earn a Big 12 invitation. But that’s not all, it turns out the conference might decide one way or the other this upcoming Summer.

That could be good news or bad news for Cincinnati but either way, and the three of us vehemently agreed, it will put and end to the conference realignment rumors for good. Here’s a full list of topics we talked about.

  • UC’s efforts to gain Big 12 membership.
  • Will there finally be a happy ending after all for Cincinnati this Summer?
  • Is a Big 12 without Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, and Oklahoma State still worth it? (It is).
  • We then briefly touched on Cincinnati’s 2016 football schedule.
  • Previewing UC’s ultra important road game tonight against Tulsa.
  • Looking ahead to, remarkably, the Bearcats’ last five games of the season.
