The Cincinnati Bearcats’ 2015 football season was.. eye opening. Let’s just call it that because I’m not sure how many times I can use the words “disappointing” and “frustrating” in association with the last three months of watching UC on the gridiron. Oops, I guess I did it again.

But it was certainly a learning opportunity, for us as fans and hopefully the coaches and players. Despite the preseason hype, the Bearcats had a litany of warts.

The main one in my mind being the sheer lack of depth and experience on defense. All it took, really, was Cincinnati losing their two linebackers to graduation and Adrian Witty to injury to watch it all crumble around them. Then there were the questionable play calls such as Tommy Tuberville’s “white flag” punt in the fourth quarter against BYU and pretty much every running play when the Bearcats were leaning on the opponent’s goal line.

So, with less than two months until Cincinnati’s Spring Game that officially kicks off the 2016 season, we’re putting a bow, or tying up the garbage bag string, on Cincinnati’s 2015 football season by ranking all of the games.
