Sooo, not our smoothest Bearcats BlogCast to date. During the one and a half hour podcast this week, Scott, Matt, and I were interrupted more than once by technical difficulties. That’s just how it goes for low budget productions like ours.

So let’s play a game! Find the two (or more) awkward moments or breaks in conversation during this segment as a result of some technical glitches. You might win a prize! It might even be a puppy*!

*It won’t be a puppy.

But if you happen to grit your teeth and get through the full podcast, here’s what you would have heard:

  • We took no time deviating from the purpose of this podcast to sing the praises of Parks and Recreation. We also had a pretty heated argument around Jurassic World’s awesomeness/lack there of (I sided with the former). I also taught Scott and Matt how to properly ruin a “Spoiler Alert” warning.
  • Kicked off the actual UC podcast by discussing the return of Gunner Kiel to the team this spring and if he and Hayden Moore will continue their battle for the starting quarterback stop this fall.
  • Are Steve Clinkscale and Jim Turner leaving Cincinnati this late in the 2016 cycle suggestive of major underlying issues with the Bearcats football program?
  • Popped over to basketball to talk about the ramifications of the Tulsa loss and UConn win.
  • Give Gary Clark the basketball more, plzkthx!
  • Looking ahead to the AAC and NCAA Tournaments and the ideal situations for the Bearcats.
