Peyton Marshall is one of the most intriguing centers in the 2024 recruiting class because of his ability to command the paint with next level size and strength. The Cincinnati Bearcats extended an offer to Marshall last month as the 7’0, 310-pound center continues to impress scouts.

“Cincinnati is a great program, it feels great to know they want me to be a part of their team and school,” Marshall told me in early May. “I could definitely see myself playing there, and I’m sure that will enhance after a visit and getting familiar with the program.”

In addition to the Bearcats, Marshall has received scholarship offers from Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Illinois, LSU, Missouri, Ole Miss and more. It’s clear that several SEC schools are making him a priority but Cincinnati is certainly in the mix after reaching out to him on April 12.

Florida most recently offered Marshall on May 20.

“No favorite schools at the moment, I would need to visit and speak more with coaches,” Marshall explained.

Following his sophomore season at Kell High School, the Marietta product moved up to the 9th ranked recruit out of Georgia. Marshall joins fellow big men Jayden Williams, Airius Bailey, Aiden Sherrell, among others in the top-10 prospects from the state. He went to Norcross High School as a freshman.

Marshall also plays for AAU program Game Elite, which is absolutely loaded with talent, alongside 2024 guard Jeremiah Wilkinson, 2024 forward Josh Hill and 2026 wing Caleb Holt. The 7’0 center can dominate the interior with pure force but is also able to run the floor in transition and should continue to improve his perimeter game.

The Bearcats are also linked to 2024 4-star wings Kur Teng, Klairus Amir, Jahseem Felton, and in-state recruits Damarius Owens and Tyler McKinley. Marshall should be a primary target for Wes Miller and the Bearcats coaching staff as the 2024 class starts to take shape soon.
