On the first night of camp, Fickell gave a brief speech and explained that this season is a fresh start and the team has to earn everything it wants to achieve. He also discussed dealing with mental challenges, embracing the opportunity and leading by example before breaking down the upcoming schedule for camp.

"Fickell expressed the importance of staying motivated via Cincinnati Athletics: “Every year is a new year. It’s about just being us. We deserve nothing. We earn everything. Go earn whatever it is that you want. With all the success you have created, for us as a team and individuals, we can’t forget where we’ve come from and how we got here.”"

In addition to covering training camp, most of the second episode focused on leadership as Ben Bryant, Arquon Bush, Evan Prater, Jabari Taylor, Tre Tucker, Josh Whyle and others talked about how the team is able to hold itself accountable and operate together instead of having one leader calling all the shots.

"Later in the episode, Fickell mentioned multiple leaders like Wilson Huber, Taylor, and Tucker per Cincinnati Athletics: “There’s just so many guys that are going to provide incredible leadership for us but it will all come down to work, trust and believing in what it is you’re doing and the people around you.”"
