2024 wide receiver and defensive back prospect Dorian Williams is set to visit campus and attend the home opener against Kennesaw State on Saturday. Even though he hasn’t received an offer just yet, Williams remains on the Bearcats’ radar.

Prior to his junior season at Princeton High School, the Cincinnati native participated in a summer camp with the Bearcats. During a recent interview with me, Williams discussed the upcoming visit and explained what his hometown program has to offer.

"“I’m looking forward to seeing the facilities and culture. The program is something I’m looking forward to exploring.  I could definitely see myself playing there in the future. I’m very excited for my first visit to a college.”"

The 6’4, 210-pound receiver has an impressive catch radius with next level athleticism and speed in the open field. In three games so far this year, Williams has flashed elite potential with a handful of big plays including a 74-yard touchdown last week.

In addition to attending the Bearcats’ camp in July, the junior receiver visited several programs last summer. Williams has earned offers from Kentucky, Marshall, and Purdue, plus received interest from Cincinnati, Indiana, Toledo, West Virginia and more.

According to On3, Kentucky is currently the favorite to land him over Purdue but that would likely change if the Bearcats extended an offer soon. Following the trip to Nippert Stadium, Williams expects to visit Indiana, Kent State, Purdue and Toledo.

During his most recent outing, Williams caught a 22-yard touchdown to put the Vikings up 50-0 en route to a 71-0 win over Lakota East. Princeton has started the season 3-0 with an opportunity to remain undefeated at Hamilton on Friday night.

After playing basketball growing up, the in-state product picked up football in high school and has slowly started to create buzz on the recruiting trail. Later in the interview, Williams talked about if he wants to play multiple sports in his college career.

"“Basketball is such a big part of my life and my family’s history so I’m hoping for the possibility to walk on somewhere. If not then I won’t be discouraged and am fully committed to playing football at the next level and further if that’s what God has intended.”"
