The first matchup between the Bearcats and Miami took place in 1888 and was the first college football game in state history. 125 meetings later and now it’s the most-played rivalry among in-state foes.
Over a decade ago, the rival schools agreed to play at Paul Brown Stadium (newly named Paycor Stadium) every four years from 2014 to 2026. Cincinnati is 2-0 against the RedHawks at the neutral site location including a thrilling 31-24 comeback win in 2014.
Even though the series is even, the Bearcats have won 15 straight against Miami and are expected to do go again on Saturday. According to WynnBET, Cincinnati is favored by 22.5 points prior to kick off.
In addition to appearing on ESPN networks against Miami this weekend, the Bearcats announced the matchup with Indiana will be as well. The broadcast will begin at 3:30 or 4:00 PM next Saturday.
