Coming off back to back blowout wins, the Cincinnati Bearcats are going to face stiffer competition this week as unbeaten Indiana comes to town. Make sure to read our game preview with odds, predictions and more as kick off approaches.

Luke Fickell’s team is riding a 28-game win streak at home and is hoping to end non-conference play with a dominant performance. With that said, the Hoosiers have a high-powered offense that could cause issues for the secondary.

The Bearcats can’t continue to commit first quarter turnovers because Indiana’s offense can take advantage and build an early lead. A slow start against Miami didn’t matter because of the talent disparity but the Hoosiers might have the depth to hang around.

Cincinnati Football: Week 3 preview, odds, predictions vs Indiana

Even though Indiana is an unbeaten Big Ten team, the Bearcats are 17-point favorites prior to kick off per WynnBET. Tom Allen’s team arrives with an unblemished record but it hasn’t exactly been an easy ride through three games.

After barely surviving a 23-20 win over Illinois in the season opener, the Hoosiers needed a fourth quarter come back to slip past Western Kentucky 33-30 in overtime a week ago. In between those two close calls, Indiana beat Idaho 35-22 in Week 2.

    • Spread: Bearcats (-17)
    • Cincinnati Moneyline: -750
    • Indiana Moneyline +525
    • Over/Under Total: 57.5

If the defense can make Indiana quarterback Connor Bazelak uncomfortable and limit bigs plays from receiver duo Cam Camper and DJ Matthews, the Bearcats should secure a third straight win. My prediction is Cincinnati pulls away late to edge Indiana 34-20.
