Lakota West junior wide receiver Brennan Remy was able to visit Cincinnati’s home opener last month against Kennesaw State. Remy is a talented, under the radar prospect that talked about his recruiting and recent visit to Cincinnati in an interview with me.

After playing a limited role last year, Remy is in the midst of a stellar junior season with the undefeated Firebirds. In eight games, the receiver racked up 607 total yards, 34 receptions and eight touchdowns.

Remy recorded a career-high six receptions for 103 yards in the season opener against St. Xavier before putting together a three-touchdown performance in a 49-6 win over Lakota East the following week. He scored twice in a blowout over Mason last month.

In addition to Remy, the Bearcats are targeting a lot of wide receivers for the 2024 class including 5-star Micah Hudson, 4-star Bredell Richardson and 4-star Ryan Pellum. A couple of 3-star prospects Jaylen Watson and Izaiah Williams are in the mix as well.

Remy has been a big part of Lakota West’s unbeaten streak this season and will have a chance to develop into an impact player in college. During the recent interview, Remy discussed his recruiting process and the possibility of playing for the Bearcats.

"“It was awesome the coaches were very nice to me and showed me the place around! It was a great experience. I could for sure see myself playing for Cincinnati in the future. I love my hometown and it would be a dream come true! I think my biggest strength on the field is my vision. I feel like I see the game really good and I just know what’s going on in every situation. I think playing baseball is good for me right now because college coaches like athletes. I plan to try playing both sports in college!”"
