After becoming the best tight end in Bearcat history, Travis Kelce developed into a dominant playmaker in the NFL. Kelce recently compiled a career-high four touchdowns, fueling the Chiefs to a comeback win over the rival Raiders on Monday Night Football.

The former Bearcat broke several records with his historic performance on Monday night including the most touchdowns by a tight end in franchise history. Kelce also became the first tight end to score four touchdowns in a game since Jimmie Giles in 1985.

Even though the Chiefs trailed by double digits, Kelce got the comeback on track with a touchdown in the second quarter. Patrick Mahomes found Kelce for three touchdowns in the second half to complete the comeback and eventually secure a 30-29 win.

During his senior season with the Bearcats, Kelce racked up 722 receiving yards with 45 catches and eight touchdowns en route to earning Big East First Team honors. The Cleveland was drafted by Kansas City with the 63rd overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Kelce currently leads the league with seven receiving touchdowns and will continue to cement his legacy as one of the premier tight ends in NFL history. After the win on Monday, Kelce broke down the record-breaking performance via the Kansas City Chiefs.

"“Once you’re in the red zone, the windows get tighter and you have to play more physical. There’s just a mentality that you have to bring. I’ve been so fortunate to be here and reap the benefits from coach Reid, this offensive staff, tight end coach Tom Melvin and obviously great players like Patrick Mahomes. I think it’s a mentality to never let a day slip by that you’re not working your tail off for the guys around you. I’m going to have that mentality until I hang these things up.”"
