The Bearcats blew out Temple 23-3 on Saturday as seniors Tre Tucker and Ryan Montgomery scored en route to a win, which sets up a must-win matchup against Tulane on Friday at Nippert Stadium.
Tulane beat SMU 59-24 on Thursday behind running back Tyjae Spears racking up 121 rushing yards and two scores. The Green Wave will travel to Cincinnati with an AAC championship game berth at stake.
Navy pulled off a monumental upset against UCF on the road as sophomore Daba Fofana ran for 114 yards. Bijan Nichols put Navy up in the third quarter with a 45-yard field goal to take down UCF.

Houston remained in the AAC title race as well with a dominant 42-3 win at East Carolina. Clayton Tune led the way with 435 yards and four touchdowns, helping Houston jump out to a 21-0 lead at halftime.
Tulsa slipped past South Florida 48-42 as running back Deneric Prince totaled 220 rushing yards and two touchdowns. The Golden Hurricane compiled 573 total yards and improved to 4-7 with a trip to Houston up next. South Florida dropped to 1-10.
Memphis became bowl eligible with a 59-0 win over North Alabama during Week 12 as sophomore Seth Henigan threw for 218 yards and one touchdown. The Tigers will travel to Texas for a battle at SMU.
Thanks to Navy’s shocking upset against first place UCF, there are four teams with a chance to reach the AAC championship game including Cincinnati, Houston, Tulane and UCF with one game remaining.
