There has been a lot of movement to the Bearcats recruiting class following Scott Satterfield’s hire including offers to Louisville commits safety Jayden Davis and tight end Jamari Johnson.

Davis is a 2023 3-star safety that received an offer from Cincinnati on Tuesday and met with Bearcats defensive coordinator Bryan Brown and linebackers coach Derek Nicholson last night.

Johnson picked up an offer from Cincinnati on Wednesday and could reopen his recruitment after committing to Louisville in April. The 3-star athlete also has offers from Alabama and Michigan.

Miami native Stanquan Clark is another current Louisville commit the Bearcats will likely target. The 2023 4-star linebacker is reportedly considering Auburn, Cincinnati, Miami and more.

The Bearcats are also in the mix to land a pair of 2024 4-star quarterbacks according to 247 Sports including Texas product Michael Hawkins and Maryland native Michael Van Buren.

Hawkins dropped his top eight schools on Sunday night with Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Michigan, NC State, Oklahoma, TCU and Virginia Tech still in consideration to land him.

Van Buren received a scholarship offer from the Bearcats on Thursday morning and could be a potential addition to the 2024 recruiting class as Satterfield looks to add a quarterback.

Cincinnati recently expressed interest in a couple of skill position players as well including 2023 3-star wide receiver Javien Brownlee from Clayton, Ohio and 2024 4-star tight end Kylan Fox.

A trio of senior defensive back prospects Jonas Duclona, Braedyn Moore and Amare Snowden decommitted from Cincinnati this week and are considering following Luke Fickell to Wisconsin.
