Wes Miller’s team is hoping to bounce back from a loss last week with a matchup against the first place Houston Cougars. Tip off is scheduled for Saturday at 2:15 PM on CBS and fuboTV.

Despite leading the all-time series with a 33-12 record, Cincinnati has lost five straight against Houston and each game was decided by double digits with an average differential of 20.8 points.

In a matchup earlier this month, Houston picked up a 72-59 win at Cincinnati as All-AAC freshman forward Jarace Walker led the way with a game-high 21 points and five rebounds.

Additional players to watch include Cougars senior guard Marcus Sasser and junior wing Tramon Mark, plus Bearcats leading scorer Landers Nolley II and veteran guard David DeJulius.

In order to stay competitive on Saturday afternoon, Cincinnati must defend at a high level and shoot well from beyond the arc. Houston opened as 14-point favorites according to WynnBET.

Coming off a loss against the Memphis Tigers last weekend, the Bearcats are looking to pull off an upset over Houston and move into a tie for second place in the conference standings.

Viktor Lakhin scored a career-high 22 points and 10 rebounds in the loss, while Nolley II finished with 18 points and six assists on 6/13 shooting from the field against his former team.
