Despite losing three of the last four games against Central Florida, the Bearcats can extend the all-time series lead in the matchup on Saturday afternoon!

In the most recent meeting, Jeremiah Davenport and David DeJulius combined for 31 points and 15 boards but Cincinnati lost 75-61 in Orlando last season.

Just over a year prior to that, the Bearcats held off a comeback from the Knights in a 69-68 win as Mika Adams-Woods scored 13 points and five rebounds.

After becoming conference opponents back in 2014, Cincinnati won the first seven games against UCF to build a 12-5 advantage in the all-time series.

  • Series History: Bearcats lead 12-5

The rivalry only dates back to last decade but there have been several memorable matchups including a Bearcats 61-58 win in the 2014 AAC Tournament.

Fresh off a blowout over last place Tulsa earlier this week, Wes Miller’s team is hoping to pick up a much-needed win against a quality opponent.

Both teams are competing for a first round bye in the AAC Tournament next month and a win this weekend would be a significant step to securing that goal.

With an opportunity to pick up a second straight win, Cincinnati is set to face Central Florida on Saturday afternoon on ESPN and fuboTV.

After a pair of losses, it was important the Bearcats to get off to a quick start and put away the AAC’s last place team without any trouble on Wednesday night.

Central Florida started conference play with a 4-1 record before losing the last four games against Houston, South Florida, Temple and Tulane.

Players to watch in the upcoming matchup are UCF star freshman forward Taylor Hendricks, plus senior backcourt mates CJ Kelley and Ithiel Horton.
