With an opportunity to pick up a second straight win, the Bearcats host conference rival UCF today at noon on ESPNU and fuboTV.
In addition to Landers Nolley, the Bearcats need David DeJulius and Viktor Lakhin to play at a high level in order to grab a much-needed win.
After going through a shooting drought in mid January, DeJulius has averaged 15.3 points on 54.5 shooting from 3-point range in the last four games.
Players to watch in the upcoming matchup include Knights freshman forward Taylor Hendricks, plus senior backcourt duo CJ Kelley and Ithiel Horton.

Cincinnati Basketball: Last-minute predictions as the Bearcats face conference rival UCF
- Date: Saturday, February 4 at 12:00 PM
- Location: Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati
- TV Broadcast: ESPNU and fuboTV
- Series History: Bearcats lead 12-5
The rivalry only dates back to last decade but there have been several memorable matchups including a Bearcats 61-58 win in the 2014 AAC Tournament.
In the most recent meeting last season, DeJulius and Jeremiah Davenport combined for 31 points and 15 rebounds but Cincinnati lost 75-61 in Orlando.
Despite struggling against quality competition this season, I’m expecting Wes Miller’s team to protect home court and pick up a crucial win over the Knights.
