Wes Miller’s team improved to 17-9 and 8-5 in conference play with a pair of road games coming up this week.

Landers Nolley II totaled 13 points and 10 rebounds, while David DeJulius added 10 points and nine assists in the win.

During a postgame press conference, Miller discussed the win over South Florida via Cincinnati Athletics.

"“It’s not about what happens but how we respond to what happens and I thought we responded really well in the second half tonight. I’m proud of that and I think it says a lot about our leadership and locker room. The second half was what we want to see. Our defense was active and that leads to offense. Jeremiah Davenport played some of his best basketball in the second half and that gave us a huge lift. We’re asking so much of David DeJulius, Ody Oguama and Landers Nolley II from a minutes stand point and I thought they were all terrific. There were some things in the first half that were very frustrating but I like how we came out and responded in the second half.”"
