Both teams traded punches before South Florida ended the first half on an 8-0 run to take a 38-34 halftime lead.

Lakhin’s absence had a major impact as Corey Walker scored 15 points to fuel the Bulls to an impressive first half.

In order to remain in contention for a bye in the AAC Tournament, Cincinnati must avoid any more losses at home.
