Check out a handful of players to watch prior to the matchup against Temple tomorrow night including Bearcats senior forward Ody Oguama and Owls sophomore forward Jahlil White.

In the most recent meeting between the programs, Temple came away with a 70-61 win over Cincinnati last month as White dominated with a team-high 14 points and 16 rebounds.

Wes Miller’s team will need to shut down White this time around and Oguama is going to be key in keeping him under control alongside Bearcats frontcourt mates Kalu Ezikpe and Landers Nolley II.

Since starting center Viktor Lakhin suffered a sprained ankle at Tulane, Oguama has stepped up with 13.8 points and 7.8 rebounds on 82.8% shooting from the field in the last four games!

  • Date: Wednesday, February 22 at 7:00 PM
  • Location: Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati
  • TV Broadcast: ESPN2 and fuboTV
  • Series History: Bearcats lead 26-12

Other players to keep an eye on include a trio of Temple guards in Khalif Battle, Damian Dunn and Hysier Miller. Battle is questionable to play on Wednesday after missing the Owls last game.

It will be important for Cincinnati to contain the talented backcourt as Dunn and Miller combined for 35 points and 11 assists as Temple took down last place Tulsa 76-53 on Sunday afternoon.

Despite coming up short in three straight games against Temple, the Bearcats are slight favorites prior to tip off as David DeJulius and Mika Adams-Woods hope to help snap the losing skid.
