Wes Miller’s team secured a crucial 88-83 overtime win against Temple as David DeJulius and Landers Nolley II each scored a team-high 20 points on Wednesday night at Fifth Third Arena!

Temple went on a 5-0 run in the last minute to force overtime but the Bearcats were able to respond in the extra period, eventually improving to 19-10 and 10-6 in conference play.

After missing a potential game-winning shot in the final seconds of regulation, Nolley scored six straight points to start overtime and help Cincinnati take down the Owls in thrilling fashion.

Daniel Skillings Jr racked up a career-high 15 points on 6/8 shooting from the field, highlighted by a steal and slam in the second half. Jeremiah Davenport added 10 points and six rebounds.

In his first game since suffering a sprained ankle in early February, Viktor Lakhin returned to the starting lineup and finished with 10 points, three rebounds and two blocks in the win.

Following the last-second victory against Temple, the Bearcats move into sole possession of fourth place in the conference standings with just two games remaining in the regular season.

Cincinnati will look to keep the momentum going at Memphis on Sunday afternoon. During a postgame press conference, Miller broke down the overtime win via Bearcats Athletics.

"“We were in the exact same position at Tulane with the same result and I thought we handled it completely differently. I loved how our guys responded in overtime. We had the mentality tonight just to find any way we could to win the game. The will and mentality to win is what you’re pleased with as a coach. We’ve played Temple four times now since I’ve been here and they’ve all been battles. Every game has been physical and close. It was good for us to get on the other side of one tonight.”"
