Wes Miller’s team has to create quality looks and defend at a high level in order to snap a 4-game losing streak against the Tigers as Nolley prepares to face his former program for a second time.

Following the win over Temple this week, Miller broke down how the Bearcats can improve and looked ahead to the pivotal matchup at Memphis in a press conference via Cincinnati Athletics.

"“I think finding ways to win over the last couple games in those situations is the first step. The mentality part is the first step. We’re talking about how we execute and showing film of it. We were pretty sound defensively with the exception of some foul discipline but offensively, we have to execute better. The more you try to get in the right spot, the more it gets stagnant and the defense gets set. We’re trying to find the right balance of that. There have been times that we did a nice job of it but I don’t think we did tonight. That’s on all of us and we’ll show the film and get back to work on it. We need to get back to moving, running and sharing the ball so Mika Adams-Woods and Jeremiah Davenport get some more opportunities. We were too stagnant but when we play like that, those guys thrive and we’re a better offensive team.”"
