After having nearly a full week off, the Bearcats are scheduled to return to action against SMU in the regular season finale on Sunday afternoon at Fifth Third Arena on ESPN+ and fuboTV.

Cincinnati is coming off a 76-73 loss at Memphis and is tied for fourth place in the AAC standings with a 10-7 record, while SMU sits in 10th place with a 5-12 mark against conference opponents.

Players to watch in the upcoming matchup include the Bearcats leading scorers David DeJulius and Landers Nolley II, plus the Mustangs dynamic backcourt duo Zhuric Phelps and Zach Nutall.

In the most recent meeting between the programs, Cincinnati escaped with a 54-52 win at SMU in mid January as Nolley and Mika Adams-Woods each finished with a game-high 16 points.

With less than a week until the AAC Tournament, Wes Miller’s team is hoping to send the seniors off with a memorable win at Fifth Third Arena and take some momentum into postseason play.

Despite struggling in conference play, the Mustangs have plenty of talent and will be looking to pull off an upset on the road. Phelps ranks fifth in the conference with 17.6 points per game.
