Both teams are hoping to make a deep run in the AAC Tournament and a victory on Friday afternoon could create enough momentum to upset top seeded Houston in the semifinals.
Cincinnati clinched fourth place in the conference standings with a blowout win over SMU in the regular season finale to finish with a 20-11 record including 11-7 against AAC opponents.
Even though it would be difficult to take down top seeded Houston on Saturday, the Bearcats have an opportunity to win three straight games and secure a third AAC Tournament title.
