Cincinnati Basketball: TV coverage as the Bearcats travel to Utah Valley in NIT quarterfinals

With an opportunity to secure a berth in the upcoming NIT semifinals, the Cincinnati Bearcats will travel to face the Utah Valley Wolverines on Wednesday night at 9:00 PM on ESPN and fuboTV.

Cincinnati advanced to the NIT quarterfinals with a 79-65 win at Hofstra on Saturday afternoon. David DeJulius and Landers Nolley II combined for 35 points, 11 assists and eight rebounds.

Utah Valley is coming off an 81-69 win at Colorado in the NIT second round on Sunday night as senior guard Trey Woodbury dropped a game-high 25 points, seven rebounds and seven assists.

After winning the regular season conference championship with a 15-3 record, the Wolverines came up just short in an 89-88 loss against Southern Utah in the WAC Tournament semifinals.

Other players to keep an eye on in the quarterfinals matchup include Bearcats frontcourt duo Viktor Lakhin and Ody Oguama, plus Utah Valley junior guards Le’Tre Darthard and Justin Harmon.

The only previous meeting between the programs took place on December 11, 2010 as Rashad Bishop and Cashmere Wright led Cincinnati to a 92-72 victory over Utah Valley at home.

Bishop scored a game-high 17 points and two assists on 7/7 shooting from the field, while Wright totaled 15 points and four rebounds. Yancy Gates added 14 points and three rebounds in the win.
