2024 3-star offensive lineman Jake Wheelock announced his commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats on Saturday afternoon over scholarship offers from Duke, Virginia Tech and others.

Heading into his senior campaign at Stebbins High School, Wheelock is the 31st highest rated prospect from Ohio and the 55th ranked interior offensive lineman according to 247 Sports.

Wheelock is the first prospect from the 2024 class to commit to Cincinnati as first-year head coach Scott Satterfield looks to build an impressive recruiting class around the Dayton native.

With the upcoming Spring Game scheduled for April 15 at Nippert Stadium, the Bearcats will continue to develop the revamped roster as the inaugural Big 12 campaign quickly approaches.
