Florida Memorial transfer wide receiver Christian Edgerson recently revealed his decision to join the Cincinnati Bearcats as a walk-on in an interview on the Benjamin Cure Show this week.

After spending the last two years at Florida Memorial, the Akron native announced his transfer to Cincinnati and will attempt to finish his career on a high note back in his home state.

Even though the details haven’t been confirmed yet, Edgerson is projected to be a preferred walk-on and should have an opportunity to compete for a roster spot heading into next season.

With the upcoming Spring Game scheduled for April 15 at Nippert Stadium, the Bearcats will continue to develop the revamped roster as the inaugural season in the Big 12 approaches.

Since the Big 12 schedule was released, check out the most recent meeting against every opponent! Cincinnati is set to kick off Big 12 play against Oklahoma on September 23.

During a recent interview on the Benjamin Cure Show, Edgerson discussed his transfer to the Bearcats!

"“My goal was to come out here and get my name out in the world as a football player and dual athlete. I feel like I’ve done that and this is just the beginning. My next move is I’m transferring to the University of Cincinnati. It’s going to feel good because I can have my family around and they can come to games. To end my college career at Cincinnati is going to be the best feeling. I’m coming to compete academically and athletically.”"
