Bryant played relatively well throughout spring practice and was expected to challenge for the starting job alongside Arizona State transfer quarterback Emory Jones and others.
Despite still recovering from a season-ending broken foot in November, Bryant should be fully healthy by the beginning of next season and will have one year of eligibility remaining.
