Following a spectacular freshman campaign, Cincinnati Bearcats star defensive tackle Dontay Corleone was recently named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American First Team.

Corleone racked up 45 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles in 11 games last season, highlighted by a career-high 11 tackles to fuel the Bearcats over Navy in November.

The Cincinnati native emerged as a dominant defensive tackle during his redshirt freshman season en route to receiving All-AAC First Team and Associated Press All-American honors.

After his sophomore season, former Connecticut Huskies leading receiver Aaron Turner announced his decision to transfer to the Bearcats in a social media post last month!

Despite losing a transfer commitment from former Auburn wide receiver Tar’varish Dawson, Cincinnati revealed the recent addition of Louisville senior receiver Braden Smith.

Turner led the Huskies with 527 receiving yards, 57 receptions and three touchdowns last year, highlighted by a 53-yard touchdown catch against Syracuse in early September.
