After entering the transfer portal last month, former BYU defensive back George Udo announced his commitment to the Cincinnati Bearcats with one year of eligibility left!
Even though he isn’t projected to be a starter next season, Udo will add depth and versatility to the Bearcats secondary with plenty of experience playing safety and nickel.
The California product will get a chance to face his former program as Cincinnati is scheduled to take on BYU in the first Big 12 road trip in school history on September 29.
Udo compiled 44 tackles and three sacks throughout his career with the Cougars, including a season-high three tackles during a 26-20 win over Baylor in September.

Detroit native and former Kentucky offensive tackle Deondre Buford announced his transfer commitment to join the Bearcats in a social media post last week!
Following his sophomore campaign with the Wildcats, Buford elected to enter the transfer portal in early May and eventually revealed his commitment to Cincinnati.
The Martin Luther King High School product was a 4-star prospect according to 247 Sports, with scholarship offers from LSU, Miami, Penn State, Tennessee and more!
