Bearcats sophomore defensive lineman Dontay Corleone and junior punter Mason Fletcher were included on Athlon Sports Preseason All-Americans this week!
Corleone earned All-AAC First Team and Associated Press All-American recognition last season, and is expected to compete for All-Big 12 honors going forward.
Fletcher developed into one of the most effective punters in the entire country throughout his sophomore season and was named AAC Special Teams Player of the Year.

Cincinnati Football: Dontay Corleone, Mason Fletcher named Athlon Preseason All-Americans
After a historic performance against SMU in October, Fletcher received AAC Special Teams Player of the Week and Ray Guy National Punter of the Week honors.
During the win over SMU last season, Fletcher set a conference and school record with an impressive 84-yard punt including an average of 65.0 yards per punt.

Cincinnati Football: Bearcats defensive tackle Dontay Corleone receives preseason recognition
Following a spectacular freshman campaign, Bearcats defensive tackle Dontay Corleone was named to the Walter Camp Preseason All-American First Team.
Corleone compiled 45 tackles, three sacks and two forced fumbles in 11 games last season, highlighted by a career-high 11 tackles against Navy in November.
The Cincinnati native emerged as a dominant defensive lineman during his redshirt freshman season en route to receiving Associated Press All-American honors.
