Despite only having one returning starter, the Bearcats new-look offensive line should be able to find success in the Big 12 behind a handful of incoming transfers.

First-year offensive line coach Nic Cardwell helped bring in several transfers including Louisville guard Luke Kandra, Kentucky tackle Deondre Buford and more.

Other offensive linemen that will likely compete for snaps include Gavin Gerhardt, Mao Glynn II, Cam Jones, Trevor Radosevich, Dartanyan Tinsley and John Williams.

There will be challenges throughout the inaugural Big 12 campaign but Cincinnati should compete on a consistent basis if the offensive line plays at a high level.

After losing multiple offensive line starters, Cardwell is hoping to develop a quality rotation with the season opener against Eastern Kentucky quickly approaching.

Cardwell played under Scott Satterfield at Appalachian State and coached his alma mater before joining Louisville as an offensive quality control coach in 2019.

Make sure to stay tuned for the most recent recruiting and transfer portal rumors as the Bearcats continue to retool the roster with the offseason in full swing.
