Florida native and 2024 3-star defensive end prospect Josaiah Knight announced his decision to decommit from Cincinnati in a social media post last night.

Heading into his senior season, Knight is currently the 55th ranked edge rusher in the country and 108th highest rated prospect from Florida per 247 Sports.

Knight previously revealed his verbal commitment to the Bearcats this month over offers from Arkansas, Georgia Tech, Maryland, Missouri and others.

During a recent social media post, Knight discussed his decision to decommit from the Bearcats.

"“I want to thank the coaches and fans from Cincinnati for welcoming me with open arms, being on campus made me realize Cincy is a special place. However after talking to my parents, I realized that I did not give myself a chance to see other campuses and see what other schools had to offer as well. I will be decommitting from the University of Cincinnati and opening my recruitment back up.”"
